I decided to read and remix chapter 9 from the Bedford Book of Genres "Revising and Remixing Your Work". I think this chapter is very useful especially right now because our first project and research proposal are due tomorrow! This chapter gives useful tips on how to transition your writing from ideas in your head slapped on to a piece of paper to a more polished piece. It also stresses how important the concept of peer revision is and how other people ( for example your instructor and classmates) can help to improve your work by adding fresh perspectives.
